Release Depression and Worry
For me, worry seems to always bring on depression, especially if I leave the worry bug unchecked. This is a simple meditative spell that will help to take your focus away from worry and direct it back to more positive thinking.
Tools:
Blue Candle
Small Journal
Pen or Pencil
Lavender Incense
Sun Stone
On any night that is needed find a space to sit quietly and place the candle in front of you. Place the sun stone so that it is touching your skin, in whatever way is convenient for you. Light the incense, then as you begin to light the candle you will say “Blessed Divinity bring to me the solutions that I need. Comfort me, release me from my worries quickly. So I will it, so it will be.” Close your eyes and take 3 deep cleansing breaths. With each inhalation, visualize the pure white energy of the Divine filling you from head to toe. As you exhale, visualize all of your frustrations leaving you. If you need to continue this longer, do so. This breathing exercise can be done anywhere and at anytime.
When you find yourself feeling relaxed, take your pen and your journal. Title your journal “The Good Things in Life” under the title, write an affirmation such as ” Peace, love and joy follow me throughout my life’s journey.” Next, consider the things that make you happy. It could be as simple as seeing a lazy butterfly floating effortlessly along a field of wild sunflowers, the temperature was exactly perfect for you, anything that is positive.
Write in your Journal as often as you like, adding to it anything that brought you joy. Refer back to your journal whenever you find that you are feeling low again or overwhelmed by stress.
