Meditation is the state of listening to your Guides and Creator. It is also the detachment from your
environment, allowing your mind to focus freely and singularly on a particular subject, or to allow it to
be clear and open to messages.
Meditation does not always have to be conducted in a perfectly serene environment. With practice,
you will find that you can meditate under any circumstance.
To begin with, a relaxing bath or shower will instantly prepare your mind for meditation. Set a circle of
sea salt around the space where you will want to work from and as you are doing this, say a prayer
stating that no spirit or energy that is not for your highest good is allowed in the space.
Candles, gemstones and incense that goes along with your intent are good enhancements to the
meditation but not necessary.
Sitting comfortably, work to clear the thoughts of your mind. I focus on the flame of a candle or a
particular color to achieve this state.
No matter how silly you may feel you must always remember to try. Even if those around you do
not believe in you, as long as you believe in yourself, you will have all of the empowerment you
need to succeed.
